I also saw the first movie and stayed away after that. I usually do stick with a series, but two I quit were the Kay Scarpetta series by Patricia Cornwell and the Anne Rice vampire books. Both just started boring me after awhile. I'm about to get that way with the Sookie Stackhouse books and the Stephanie Plum series.
